Launched only hours ago, Prada’s Spring/Summer 2012 campaign already has fashion-lovers sitting on the edges of their seats frantically typing their thoughts away on Youtube.
The video, filmed by Steven Meisel and set at a gas station reminiscent of the 1950s, has already drawn fans from around the world into its midst and the reviews so far are fairly positive.
User PiNKLACE8691 commented, “FIERCE is the best way to explain this.”
Charamia2392 was also in awe of the video, “Holly Mother of God!!! So flawless!!!”
The short film features flawless beauties showing off bright prints, flaming shoes and gem embellishments.
Head scarves, retro sunnies and boxed bags also add to the 50s glamour, but it is the soundtrack to the film that sets the fashion off.
With each new song that darts across the 1950s car radio, a new character emerges. From prim and proper to sexy chic, every female protagonist is placed within the spotlight. But of course it is the clothing that takes precedence and really, who can look past those flaming shoes?
