It’s hard to find a hairspray that wont leave your hair feeling crusty, sticky and hard, but Moroccanoil has set out to do just that. TFJ tried out their newest hairspray and here’s what we thought.

In comparison to other hairsprays, Moroccanoil’s Luminous Hairspray is light weight when applied. What I [Mel] mean by that is that once it is applied, hair still feels soft and looks silky rather than crusty. Despite this light weight spray, there’s no need to over apply [as I was doing, thinking it wouldn't hold otherwise]. The spray has a strong hold on hair and lasts all day. The only thing to be wary of is loose strands that you have tried to flatten down with hairspray [as I did], these tend to fight themselves free so it’s a good idea to pin these back and apply hairspray over them.

 

 

TFJ took the hairspray for a road-test.

I found that my hair felt soft, looked healthy and that it did indeed last all day with hardly anything moving. It was also extremely easy to brush out, unlike other hairsprays that have you tearing out hair.

Final thoughts: A great, lightweight hairspray that doesn’t need to be over applied and leaves your hair looking natural during and after application.
