Slim Secrets may have closed the gap when it comes to delicious snacks that don’t pile on the kilograms.
Forget those bland muesli bars and nuts covered in fake chocolate. Slim secrets uses real cookie pieces in their products along with healthy ingredients such as chia seeds and green tea extract and consider those of us who are gluten conscious.
TFJ was lucky enough to try out a selection of Slim Secrets’ range and we were pleasantly surprised by what we tasted. Here are a few of the products we tried out and how we felt about them.
Craving-Crusher: This bar was delish and much needed at the time. The cookie pieces hit that chocolate craving and I felt my hunger pains crawl back into their cage for a little longer. Did I mention that the bar only carries 123 calories with it? You can burn it off while taking out the rubbish! [Or something like that…]
Wanted! Less Than 100 Calories Bar: More of a traditional snack bar, think fruity flavours mixed with protein blends and chia seeds. The best thing about these bars is that they are less that 100 calories and still hit the spot!
Designer Cookie: This took the prize as Mel’s favourite. Being a firm lover of chocolate, the choc-chip cookie tasted genuine but without the evil calories sneaking in. Made up of real cookie pieces with fibre, protein and other goodies added in, it’s definitely drool-worthy.
Guilt Free Potato Chips: These are for those of us who are chip lovers and cry once we’ve finished the packet. These guilt free potato chips are exactly that so there’s no need to cry once you’ve polished them off. We tried out the Cheese and Onion flavour and were surprised by the amazing taste and the big sign on the packet that said 97% fat free.
