These heels are a flashback to the 70s and when I saw them sitting there with their chunky heel and nifty back-strap I knew I had to try them on.
…Two seconds later and I was slowly and steadily pacing the store attempting to tell myself why I didn’t need them.
…Ten minutes later I was walking out the store with them tucked into the palm of my hand.
With a 14cm heel, these are not for the feint hearted and I’d recommend them to those who are comfortable in heels. I caution – not for beginners!
The thickness of the heel keeps the shoe sturdy but also adds a weight to them that takes some getting used to. The platform helps with balance and is always a great addition to a shoe as it takes some of the pressure off the ball of your foot. The ball of the foot is also padded so it gives that extra comfort.
Wear them with dresses, skirts or shorts, they can be mixed and matched with any outfit. Just watch how far back in time you step!
Final thoughts: A great comfy leather heel. No rubbing or blisters forming anywhere. Tricky to walk in at first but simple once you get the hang of it. If you swear by flats then I’d keep away from them!
