While it’s getting warmer and warmer in the northern hemisphere, it’s getting colder and colder in the southern, and since both hemispheres are in those in-between seasons, the fur vest is a great trend to pull out.

There’s the age old debate over faux fur and animal fur that has animal activists enraged and some fashion lovers losing interest. TFJ doesn’t judge your loves or hates, dress in whatever makes you feel special and warm!

So now you’ve got the general feel for the kind of vest you want, how are you going to wear it? Luckily they are quite versatile. Pair them with jeans and a simple tee for a casual look or throw one over a dress if you’re looking for something a little more special.

A big part of what makes a fur vest work with an outfit is the type of fur that is used. Long haired furs tend to give that shaggy, bolder look while shorter haired furs give a more casual feel. Also note colours as blacks, whites and greys can sometimes dress up a fur and browns and creams can dress them down.
